“Our friends recommended this hotel to us. So, we booked two adjacent rooms. We weren’t disappointed. The rooms were clean and spacious. We just chose Standard Rooms. The rooms had a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries.”

“The hotel was well located for the places we were going and very easy to get to off the 401. The room was clean and comfortable with a settee as well as desk, chair and large bed. Service was thorough and friendly and quick responses to any questions we had. We enjoyed the gym and the pool though the pool is a bit small for doing laps. There were lots of options for dining both in the hotel and nearby and parking was a reasonable rate for Toronto. The only thing we didn't like was the bed was too hard - we are used to a pillow topper.”

“The room was nice and cozy with a splendid view of the city. I had trouble finding the hotel before because the TTC planner directed me to the one downtown instead of North York. As for the room, the only complain is the air vent. It blows right into my face when I try to sleep on the left side of the bed. Yet without it, the room would be cold.”

“The hotel was in a great location for us to get dinner and see the show we came to see. The hotel was very nice, but my only 2 complaints are, you could see under the rim of the sink when you looked in the mirror, and there were signs of mould and mildew. This makes it very uncomfortable to put your toothbrush in the sink, not knowing if it has been cleaned very well. Also, I assume the mini bar in the room is operating on some sort of sensor because we moved some things around to put our beverages in the fridge and the hotel tried to charge me over $20 for goods I did not use. In the end they didn't end up charging me, however this could be avoided by leaving some room in the fridge for guests food or beverages.”

“I loved everything about this hotel, very clean and friendly. Beautiful establishment. They only issue I had was my first morning there. No one told us to be prepared for house keeping at 8:10am. I was sound asleep and woke up to a knock at the door, I wasn't even out of bed to answer the door and the male , housekeeper had the door open! It would have been nice if he had waited a few seconds, good thing I wasn't changing or coming out of the shower. Needless to say it wasn't being work up that bothered me as much as the knock and immediate enter, I was very shocked and annoyed.”

“The front desk staff were surprisingly "cold" at check in and it appeared that I was more of a distraction to them than a customer. Moreover, when checking out the front desk would not/could not provide a receipt for an on-line booking. His explanation was that other guests would see what I paid and they could get upset with him/the hotel! This created problems for me later when I tried to get reimbursed because I did not have proof of my stay. ”
