Very Nice

“This is by far the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The entire hotel is elegantly decorated. Service was excellent and friendly.” – Delilah N.

Very classy hotel

“It’s very popular because of its history and architecture. Hotel has nice rooms, upscale interiors, all very special and unique. Very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Would not think twice about recommending this hotel, it deserves a steady set of clientele due to its quality.” – Gaston

Very Disappointed!

“We stayed there Jan 15, 2011, for one night, during our anniversary weekend. I was expecting the hotel to be incredible from the reviews I had read, and from what my parents recalled of its former days. The room was standard, not elegant. Internet access is extra. Do not waste your time or money in the hotel restaurant. It is overpriced and is not worth the extra cost. I will not recommend…” – Darrell

Do not waste your time or money in the hotel restaurant. It is overpriced and is not worth the extra cost. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends or family. I have stayed in bed and breakfast establishments and other hotels that provide better accommodations and service.”

  • Loved the architecture

“Staff worked me through the history of the building, it was amazing. Love the interiors of the rooms as well.”

  • Nice surprise

“Arrived to check in at 5:00 pm and was told I would be waiting an hour and a half because some people at a meeting had requested late check out. I was, however, given free wifi access and a $30.00 drink and food voucher for my trouble. The room was lovely and worth the wait. ”

  • Nice but needs attention

“The worst hotel shower I've ever experienced in any non-fleabag place. They have taken water conservation to the extreme, plus the head was corroded. I was not informed in advance that the valet parking was going to be $52.00 a night. On the good side, the building is beautiful, especially the lobby. Nice bar too.”

  • Skirvin

“Very nice hotel with all the perks! Staff was wonderful. Loved the limo service. Didn't like that walls were thin and could hear all noise from hallway and other rooms. But would definitely stay again and again. Great location. ”

  • murphy

“Clean, quiet, easy access except for parking (but I'm not big city). Would have liked to have known I'd be looking at a retaining wall instead of a street-scape out my window ahead of time. But, a nice experience for me and my wife.”

  • rating the shirvin hilton oklahoma city

“wonderful stay I would stay again The staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean and I loved the wonderful old charm of the hotel. We loved the valet being open all night, and the valet guys were great. Front desk very gracious.”

  • Shining Gem in OKC

“Lady at the front desk went OVER and ABOVE to make our stay WONDERFUL. Fastest checkin EVER! She provided me a list of movies and showtimes for the local theater, booked our restaurant reservations and arranged for our transportation, in a limousine no less!! She was uber helpful and when I wanted to switch rooms to a King she made it happen and ensured I was happy with my new room. All the staff was great from the bell hops to the valets. I had arranged for a romantic weekend with my husband after being apart for two months and this exceeded all my expectations. Thank you so much, the Skirvin is a shining gem in OKC! ”

  • Wonderful!

“As always, a wonderful stay--the staff is consistently gracious and service-oriented. Great breakfast, room is beautiful...”

  • Hotel Review

“We totally enjoyed the room and other amenities, pool whirlpool...Restaurant at 830 did not seem very responsive and table placements seemed awkward and far from private, food expensive for actual dishes. I may consider staying again... ”

  • Skirvin review

“No shower pressure which was disappointing for an upscale hotel and charged for wi if which I find cheap when all the less expensive hotels offer it for free. The parking was more than quoted to me by your person. Liked car service after 5 pm and restaurant was good.”

  • Skirvin- Ready for next trip there

“We had a very quick trip to Oklahoma City (our first). From the opening conversation with the bellman about how to get around on foot to the last conversation about how to get to the Oklahoma City Memorial, the staff at the Skirvin exceeded every preconceived notion I had. The hotel was beautiful. My wife and I loved the room. The hotel bar was nice. Breakfast was very good. But I go back to the bellmen up front. They were outstanding. All in all I will go back to OKC just to stay at the Skirvin.”

  • Saturday, July 14

“The hotel was lovely and clean, but we were awakened three times at 3 and 3:30 a.m. by partiers knocking on our door - - - not a good night's rest!”

  • Hotel Review

“All was wonderful except for a smell in the room that smelled like something had died. Fortunately, I was extremely tired and went to sleep. We did not smell it the next morning. The bed & Pillow were just wonderful!”

  • Skirvin Hilton, OKC

“When I checked in I asked if the room had a walk-in shower. I had a total hip replacement 3 1/2 months ago and I'm quite short so it's hard for me to climb over the side of a tub to get in the shower. The staff searched for a handicap room and couldn't find one and assigned me to a suite. They couldn't have been more gracious. My one criticism of the area is that there is no place close to the hotel where one can walk to a coffee shop or sandwich shop (other than a Subway which wasn't very appealing) for a light meal. ”

  • The Law School Hooding Celebration on Friday night

“The banquet was very nice. But, I called early the next morning, as we had checked out and explained that I had left my pillow in the room. I talked to FOUR PEOPLE. We came by after the ceramony to pick it up and no one knew anything. Very frustrated. I just left. Next time, if you say you are going to do something - then do it. It wasted our time and I am our a $125.oo special pillow.”

  • We had a great stay at the Skirvin

“Very friendly staff, the room was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay very much!”

  • Excellent choice

“The hotel is beautiful. Our room was comfortable, clean and elegant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the restaurant. My Chicken Caesar Sald was pale and somewhat tasteless. The bread was good, though.”

  • March visit

“Nice room, friendly staff neat hotel......wifi in the room should be free.”

  • Nice

“It was a good, solid, quiet room.”

  • Excellent

“Great atmosphere and always great service. Favorite in OKC!”

  • Hotel Review

“The room was nice and the people at the front desk were helpful and efficient, as was the bellman. Our only complaint was breakfast at the hotel. The service was not satisfactory. The wait person was very slow to bring menus and was not attentive during the meal. I had to get up and find her to ask for more coffee as well as to ask for the check at the end of the meal. I did not think the restaurant was particularly crowded.”

  • Hotel Review

“Fabulous hotel - the decor, hospitality and ambiance were excellent”

  • Love This Hotel!

“I am a member of a national organization with members from all 50 states and all Canadian provinces. The annual meeting for this group was held in Aug. 2011 at the Skirvin. We were delighted to host this meeting. Everyone loved the hotel - it is vintage and beautiful with a rich history. Rooms are lovely, with all amenities, very comfortable and quiet. They provided us with everything we needed for the meeting (about 200 people) and the location was great to access Bricktown, the OKC Memorial, convention center, etc. Our meeting room was in the original hotel and was beautiful and quite adequate. Yes, internet access is extra in the rooms, but this is still pretty standard in many hotels I have stayed at across the country. It hardly outweighs the elegance of the hotel, its great restaurant and the Red Piano Bar. And the staff are all very friendly and helpful! I live in this area and rarely get to stay there, so this was a real treat for me. The hotel was closed for many years, and I am delighted that it was renovated back to an original decor and reopened. I love this place and eat here often!! ”

  • Hotel Review

“The thermostat in the room either was not working or not adjustable. It was very warm in the room and was were difficult to sleep. The food in the restaurant was average and not worth the price. I thought for what I paid for a night that it's ridiculous that a patron would have to pay for Internet or parking. Motel 6 has free WiFi . I was on business so that made it less than attractive so I probably would not stay there again. The rooms were lovely but not worth the price considering..........”

  • Weekend in OKC

“We've stayed at the Skirvin several times over the last 3 years. Our son is a Captain in the USAF stationed at Tinker and the Skirvin is well located near his home. We love the proximity to the sports venues and Bricktown as well as Automobile Alley and the many restaurants located there. Additionally the OKC Museum of Art and their restaurant are just down the street and their Chihuly glass exhibit provide for a nice afternoon. The hospitality at the Skirvin is always top notch and the accomodations are clean and attractive. We'll always stay there when we visit OKC. ”

  • hopefully!

“staying there soon! Hope its as good as yall say it is! #DownHomeCountry”

  • Excellent visit

“Staying at the Skirvin over Christmas, the hotel was nicely decorated and the service was top notch. The room was very clean and quiet. Used the free wi-fi in the lobby without issue.”

  • Great hotel greatvprice

“Superb historic hotel with fashionable up to date amenities. Looking forward to anothercokc get away at the Skirvin”

  • Suite stay...

“Great room with plenty of room... Clean with the exception of outside windows (which prevented enjoying the view). Was kind of disappointed that the suite did not have a refrigerator or hair dryer. For the most part it was worth the history of the Hotel but would probably suggest for the price, stay at one of the plentiful great bread and breakfasts in OKC..”

  • Review of Skirvin Hilton 10-21-11

“Was a very plesant stay since we were there for the Skirvin's 100th Annivesary Gala Event. It was also our 28th Anniversary. Room was nice - not very big but comfortable.”

  • Loved the hotel, just wished our suite was ready when we checked in!

“I love the vibe of the old hotel and the suite was pretty nice. However, when we checked in right at 3:00 (check-in time) our suite was not ready and we had to wait 45 minutes before it was. The staff acted like it wasn't a big deal and didn't offer a free meal or anything.”

  • Outstanding

“Restaurant was great. The food is incredibly delicious. Perfection. ”

  • Great time at the Skirvin

“Took my wife there for her birthday, she was thrilled. Excellent service, the rooms were very nice, we had a great time.”

  • Charge for Internet access

“Beautiful hotel. We've stayed there several times. We had asked for foam pillows which we never got. However I was upset that we had to pay for Internet access. We will try another hotel next time with free Internet. This is the same mistake Starbucks made. Panera bread offers free Internet and I believe they are getting lots of Starbucks. business. ”

  • Independence Day Bliss

“The Skirbin is a top notch Hitel with professional and courteous staff. Our room was luxurious. The king bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure to rest upon. The valet was perfect. The concierge gave us excellent directions and local hot spots. All in all I can't rave enough about our excellent experience.”

  • Skirvin Hilton / Oklahoma city

“This hotel is beautiful. It's my favorite place I've ever stayed. Can not say enough nice things about it and the people. The city is beautiful and so nice to just walk around in. I would recommend this town and this hotel to anyone.”

  • Hotel Review

“Room with two beds was somewhat cramped. The line up of desk and chest of drawers on the wall with the windows made it very difficult to shut and open the curtains. The rrom was clean and well cared for while we were there. The front desk staff was very helpful.”

  • Friendly

“I do believe that you all have a very special asset. Your one employee had to be the most helpful and attentive worker ever. He had so much enthusiasm for his job and absolutely sang your hotels praise. You are very lucky to have someone with that type of enthusiasm be among your employees. He deserves a promotion or raise he is great! Thank you for the beds they were wonderful!”

  • Wonderful!

“My husband and I stayed at the Skirvin for our wedding night. The people were extremely nice and even gave us a free upgrade! The room was beautiful and we had a wonderful time! Would very much recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again soon.”
