“The lively casino was what I exactly needed for a week of getting away from it all. Bartenders and other casino employees were really attentive to our needs and requests. I will return to Harrah's for another week of fun, this time around I'll tag my friends along.” – Oscar Lucero

“Just like what each traveler wants in a hotel, it's really all about the location. This hotel is pretty much in the middle of almost everything Vegas has to offer.” – Anita Key

“Staff was great, perfect location on the Vegas strip and connected to so many other hotels in regards to points and rewards to use at different casinos, restaurants, and shows. Room service is not 24 hrs which was a bummer but other than that a great place to stay. Pool is on the smaller side as well but with all to do in Vegas didn't use it anyways.” – Nicole B

“Loved the location, Bad experience with the staff. Half way cleaned the room. We were suppose to have a breakfast with our stay they still wanted to charge us for breakfast items. Picked up the towels off the floor and put them back on the rack instead of giving us clean towels. Left dirty dishes in the room did not give us clean glasses.”

“Am easy to please/positive attitude. Harrahs has lost my business Negatives: Many Hotel staff lacked customer service skills-rude,inconsistent/inaccurate info provided repeatedly. Guest Service Mgr lacked customer focus. Hotel Executive Shuttle less timely than CAB to airport. Positives: Room clean. Security Staff. Piano Bar Entertainment. NUMB Bar Personnel.”

“We like Harrah's because it is affordable, has good food opportunities, is conveniently located to so many things on the strip and close to where we catch the motor coach for travel to race track.”

“I had to book an extra night as my departure flight was cancelled. My room was not cleaned that day and housekeeping tried to get in my room at 9:00 pm. So scary and thank goodness the safety lock was on. I had gone to sleep @ 8:00 pm to catch a 3:15 am shuttle. Needless to say, no good sleep from that point on. Otherwise, the room was clean and the location was great for my market week. ”

“Our room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Casino was great even tho I couldn't win!”

“Access to the hotel is very difficult due to the construction at The Quad. Finding the parking garage was difficult and then very difficult to get to the front desk and our room for my wife who is mobility challenged. In the morning we left our room about 10:00 AM and when we returned around 3:00 PM, our room had not been made up. It never was made up, we caught one of the housekeepers in the hall and got fresh towels. Is this what they mean by "No resort fee"??”

“I agree location is in the heart of it all. Wouldnt stay at Harrah's again for the simple fact beds were not clean, sheet was ripped, shower continued to drip, thermostat only came on by sensor, could hear everything (walls paper thin). However, staff seemed to be polite and helpful.”

“My husband and I go every year and have stayed at other hotels, but like Harrah's the best. Right in the middle of the strip, close to everything, and very affordable. This year we are coming back for a 2nd visit. As for the coffee makers some are asking for, you should really try the cappucinos in the casino. I like them better than Starbucks.”

“MOST EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS FINE EXCEPT THE BED. IT WAS A DISASTER AND I SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT IT. ALSO, I ONLY HAD MAID SERVICE ONCE IN A THREE NIGHT STAY.”

“A COFFEE MAKER WOULD BE NICE IN THE ROOM”

“The one thing I found totally frustrating was the checking in process. The line was insanely long. Initially I though it was a one time hang up but each day I walked past the registration desk the line was out the door! I simply could not comprehend how a casino would have such poor customer service ...especially first impressions. I didn't even try to check out. I just left my key in the room and hoped for the best.”

“THE FOOD, THE ROOMS, THE SERVICE WERE EXCELLENT. I WOULD ERECOMMEND HARRAH'S TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.”

“Excellent location. In every instance, the staff and service were very cordial and helpful. Sleeping rooms were nice and clean but a dripping shower was never fixed. The Casino and public rooms are way too smoky, noisy and chaotic. ”

“My two daughters and I decided we needed some quality time together and had heard good (and bad) things about Harrah's. We were really impressed with the location, room and the friendliness of the staff... Did all the touristy things but found we spent most of our time at Harrah's. Entertainment at Carnaval Court was fun and loved the Dueling Piano.. Try the KGB burgers, they are probably the best I have had. We also at at the Range Steakhouse and although my daughters loved their steaks mine was overcooked and very dry, probably just a fluke on mine. Also ate at the Italian Cafe (only open in evening) found food to be mediocre at best. Unfortunately didn't have any wins at the casino but was fun... Caution to travellers! My daughter had her purse stolen while sitting at the poker table. Fortunately this happened the last night and her passport wasn't in her purse but she lost Blackberry, cash, credit cards, debit cards and unfortunately her Coach purse that I had given her as a birthday present. This could have happened at any casino and doesn't change the excellent recomendations we give Harrah's. ”

“Had no problems with check in and the room was great. Had a nice view of Vegas. The only downside was there was no coffee pot in the room! The staff was very helpful and was able to answer any questions I had. We had a great time and will be booking next year!”

“Location, Location Location.... Near the Sands Convention Center on the Stip.... Awesome prices.... As a marketing idea.... what if you offered free passes to the light rail as part of the hotel fee? This could easily fetch an extra $15-20 per room/day and it only costs $12 for a 24 hours pass... just a thought... Thank you for the great stay... ”

“Service is excellent. Great people everywhere. I wonder if anyone walks the property every 24 hours? It seems like a few things would be caught. Without much effort, the property could represent itself a little better.”

“When we arrived to check in was told we could upgrade to suite. Which we did with little hassel.Person was really nice and the stay was excellant. Will stay there again. We also liked that this hotel even being older was in the center of town which made walking around a real pleasure.”

“we heard bad things about the rooms after we had booked so when checking in we mentioned this and asked for a clean room. We were given an upgrade and the room was nice (315).When we left we had bed bug bites. Never stay there again. ”

“We stayed from 12/17/2011 to 12/20/2011. It was our 40th anniversiary. The room was Ok, nothing fancy, however it was clean. I do have a problem with the things that went along with the room. WIFI was not included, even McDonalds has free WIFI ! You had to pay $1.25 for each LOCAL CALL from your room. The room did NOT include a refrigator, or microwave, to reheat & or keep leftovers cold. Nothing in the room gave you instructions for buses or montirail prices or schedules any where in the hotel.. We had to ask other customers for information. I would NOT recommend this to my friends. ”

“girlfriend and I stayed Nov.14-17th.to celebrate her birthday. Two days in arow we found cockroaches in our bathroom. When we left management said we'd hear from them but nothing yet so next year we'll be staying elsewhere.”

“The first thing I said was that the room didn't stink. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in at a hotel. Not enough closet space.”
