“when my family arrived there was no handicap room available and both the rooms had 2 double beds instead of King size beds. In addition, the hotel charged my parents for valeting handicap van each night (never had to pay before...) For the past 5 years we have used this hotel when family comes to town for various occasions but we will have to look elsewhere in the future. Unacceptable.”

“The staff were great. The room was dingy and they definitely need fitted sheets. I would not recommend this hotel.”

“We were so very disappointed with the service at this hotel We had figured being at a Wilshire Hotel the level of service would be at least satisfactory, it was not. The air in the room never worked, called them several times about this and we were told to open the window... really??? We were there 3 nights and there was never enough clean towels or toilet paper. Had to call the front desk about this more than once. Since we were in the room with small children, tried to call the valet service in advance to have our car ready, took at least 10 minutes for them to answer and then immediately hang up on us. Called the front desk and they did exactly the same, they hung on our call rather than try and solver our problems. I do have to say the persons that park and get your car were friendly, helpful, and very attentive always. They were the ONLY ones in this hotel that we can sincerely say did their job. I would give this hotel the worst rating ever, will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone. By the way, as we were leaving we heard several guest also complaining about the service in this hotel. I will say this hotel has a great location so sad cannot say the same of the Wilshire, LA.”

“We were in LA filming a TV shoot for the week and a lot of us were first time LA-ers. Everyone from the front desk to the valet service to the concierge were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to display exemplary service to our entire cast and crew. our concierge were beyond kind in helping with even the smallest of requests. They made our 5 days in LA a pleasurable working experience. So glad we decided not to continue our stay at Hollywood Hotel after receiving TERRIBLE service from their receptionist. They lost a couple thousand that day thats for sure!!!”
