“I think the hotel is just one of those nice hotels everybody must check out. Everything else is within reach from the hotel because there are a lot of shops and restaurants located nearby. Attractions are also in abundance so people will not have any problems finding stuff to do. Those who want to make the most of their stay should definitely see the hotel.”

“The hotel has very kind staff, who cater to your needs, as well as very comfortable rooms where people can do just about anything that they want to do.”

“The toilet was not working properly. The toilet paper holder was broken. There was a light bulb above the sink, missing, and not replaced in the 2 day stay. Asked for another room.... not able to change per manager. NOT PLEASED AT ALL. Would NOT recommend this hotel.”

“While the room was clean, the faucet in the livingroom was detached from the sink. The outlet in the bathroom had only one working plug, so you had to choose to either have coffee or use a hairdryer/curling iron. The faucet in the bathtub worked opposite as labeled... hot was acutally cold, and cold was hot. Took a while to figure that out. I wanted to walk to CalPoly to meet someone, and asked the front desk clerk for directions. Because of his heavy accent, he mispronounced the street names and I was sent on a very long walk that did NOT end up at campus. The front office that morning was absolutely sweltering, as if the heater was on (it was close to 75 degrees outside already) and the front door and a window had to be opened while we waited for the clerk to come check us out. These accommodations worked in a pinch, but not worth the money we paid for them.”

“The hotel was good enough, very old decor, but clean. However, the nightly rate was very high for the very average, bare bone accomodations. The charge for the room was certainly increased since it was a busy time when the kids at the college start to move into their dorms. ”
