“This was great for me. I was in Palm Springs for work and I didn’t think I was going to enjoy myself, but the moment I stepped into the hotel, everything was easy. I loved my room and the bed was great. The staff was great when it came to directions too.” – Gladys Kelly

“Room was clean. Especially appreciated the magnifying mirror by the sink. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Everything about our stay was good. Great value.” – Bob & Carol Eberly

“Friendly dog hotel. It was our first experience to bring out dogs with us. We would definitely stay again, but maybe in a room towards the back as our dogs would bark, but none of the guests complained.”

“The room was adequate but needed updating and was decorated from 25 yrs ago and well worn. The sidewalks outside the rooms were dirty and the screens were also dirty. A little clean-up would go a long way. A bonus would be a couple hundred dollars for bedspreads, paint, and removal of old borders and wallpaper. In my experience Best Western used to be a good sign.......no longer!”

“Although we live in the Inland Empire in So. Cal my wife and I had the good fortune to stay in three different hotels/motels in the last few weeks. The Mariott at LA Live, the Oceana in Santa Barbara as part of an anaversary celebration and now the Vagabond in P.S. with our three adult childred and their families. I give it four stars not comparing it directly to the other two places but just how well they met my expectations for a motel stay in off season Palm Springs. the staff was courteous, cheery and helpful. They gave us rooms in close proximity to each other (after asking me if that was what I wanted) They even called to see if a restaraunt was still open after our late Friday night arrival. Nice continental breakfast poolside, with the self made fresh waffles stealing the show! I will go back and I do reccomend it without reservations (pun intended!)”

“It was ok. The Temp outside was over 105 and the air conditioning was not cold enough. It took over 2 hours to start cooling. The shower had no water pressure and the toilet had problems. The pool could have used a cleaning, there was hair floating around and the water was very cloudy!”

“The hotel is nice, with a pool, a snack bar, and spacious rooms. The problem is that a decent internet connection is becoming a requirement for many travelers. More important than a room iron, coffee maker, or microwave. This hotel fails miserably to service all it's guests internet needs. Beyond room x08, or possibly beyond the elevators, the internet connection is completely unreliable. If you are on the other side of the hotel away from the office, forget it. I will not be coming back and will advise others via reviews to avoid this hotel until such time that the owners spend the few dollars needed to install multiple routers throughout the hotel so all may use the internet and not just the couple dozen directly across from the office.”
