“I was in Durham for a couple of days and during that time I chose to stay at the hotel. I believe the hotel works fine for businessmen who are there for pleasure and for business as well. The amenities are top of the line, you have Internet and meeting rooms, and best of all, golf.” – Michael Mills

“Very nice room, beautiful hotel. Loved walking Duke Forest trail.” – Leslie

“Our stay at the Washington Duke Inn was excellent in every respect. All staff with whom we came in contact were helpful and polite. I have never felt more welcome at any other hotel. We had excellent meals in the dining room, far and away the best restaurant meal I have ever had. The service was superb. This is now my go to hotel when visiting Durham.”

“The Wa-Duke is the place to stay for Duke Parent and Family weekend and graduation. Unfortunately, at these times it is booked and usually unavailable for many. Preference goes to donors and VIPs. Also very expensive during these times. However, we came to Durham in January 2013 for a basketball game and were able to get reservations at a very good rate. The inn is walking distance to Camereon Indoor Stadium. Also, there is a very nice walking-jogging path. The highlight of our stay is always hanging out at the bar in the afternoon after the game or other day's activities. It has a clubby, lively atmosphere and is always slot of fun.”

“My wife and I always stay at the Washington Duke whenever we come back to visit Duke University. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful, especially with local information, such as restaurant recommendations or special events. The rooms are consistently well appointed, clean and quiet; and the restaurant and Bull Durham Lounge are the "go to" spots for the area. The setting on the golf course and the convenience for events at Duke or for business meetings makes the Washington Duke our first choice in the RDU area.”
