“we always enjoyed our stays at Cape Point. Staff was excellent and helpful, room was clean, and yes I would recommend this hotel to others. The only complaint we have for our recent visit was that the pool area was to noisy and there were a lot of kids who were with about 5 or 6 families, they were altogether as a group. They were not considerate of the other patrons using the pool. The…” – Bill and Lynn

“ we always enjoyed our stays at Cape Point. The wifes/mothers were talking to each other and letting their husbands/fathers manage the children. The adult men were worse then the kids. They were cannon balling from the edge of the pool and also tossing some of the kids high in the air causing a lot of splashing, plus the floating toys that all the kids had in the pool was bothering other people in the pool at the same time. Thank Goodness for the 1 hour of adult time at the end of the day. So managerment should puts rules into effect which should tell parents of kids to keep the loud screeching down, plus post rules stating no diving or cannon balling into the pool. That is not the reason for the 3 star rating. The reason for the medium rating is this. There is no restaurant for dinnertime, just breakfast only. No microwave in the rooms, only refriderators and no 4 cup coffee makers in the rooms. It is understandable not to have these extras because of the low off season rates, so this is not a complaint, but it's just something I like when I stay at a motel or hotel. But my wife and adult children do like staying at the Cape Point Hotel when we visit Cape Cod. It is a nice hotel and the staff and rooms are excellant. My wife and I are old adults and all the kids and noise did get to us this time. LOL. ”Posted by Bill and Lynn
“very nice place to stay, clean, confortable and quiet, pools were clean, facilities from top to bottom were very clean, I have to give them credit for that, its not easy keeping a facility this big that clean and well kept. The cabana was clean and the pool was surronded with people, it was difficult finding a place to sit but attribute that to the comfort that the visitors had in the facility. Will definately be back.”Posted by Peeto
“The CP has gone down a few notches from how they used to be in regards to cleanliness and general quality of the facilities. The indoor pool water looks dingy as well as the spa. The men's pool shower area had black mold growth on the walls and the curtains. The ice machine near our room hardly ever had ice and if it did, there was just enough you had to reach way down at the bottom and scoop along the bottom to fill your bucket. One morning during our stay I found a warm fruit drink bottle in there as if someone had just brought it in from their car and needed to chill it quick- GROSS!! The outdoor pool needs to stay open later- it would be nice to go for an evening swim, and not the humid indoor pool area. They also need to put some tables and chairs for relaxation outside on their grassy areas. However, the Cabana, Cafe, and Sports Loft Bar are very good places to spend time and unwind w/ food or drink. Other than that, they need to step it up quite a bit w/ the things I mentioned.”Posted by rooneys
