“Got a 1 bdrm condo at a discount due to last minute reservation. Location was ideal for my purpose and the discounted price was good on my pocket book. The pool stays open until 1 AM which is a plus for me. Internet cafe is only open from 9 to 5. Glad I did not stay here for full price. Upon entering, there was a large hole in the carpet, lamp was inoperable, washing machine leaked, and the oven light did not work. Also, the garbage disposal smelled so bad I had to go buy salt to put down the disposal, open all the windows, and spray deodorizer in the entire space. ”

“The staff was very pleasant and helpful in accommodating our needs. The only issue I had with the resort is that they should have a non smoking room option and the furniture and appliances need to be updated. At least a DVD player in the room. But overall for the price, the room we got was fairly large and we were able to utilize the kitchen. The location is peaceful and full of surprising wildlife such as a peacock. It is also conveniently located near shopping, the grocery store, and about 15 minutes from aquatica, seaworld, and Busch gardens.”

“We spent 7 days in the resort, room 503. It was an excellent experience exactly what we were looking for. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Only negative comment was that internet was not working in the room. We had to go to the pool to check the internet. Thank you and we look forward to come back. ”

“Well to start off I paid for housekeeping and my room was never cleaned. When u walked into the room it smelled very humid and it was an unpleasant smell for my little kids. There was bugs in the rooms and the rooms look like they had not been updated in like 12 years. We never got towels while we were there we called like 3-4 times before they even brought them we had to air dry after showering. We also had to call like 4 times or more for some tiolet paper and then to top it off one roll was even opened and had been used (nasty). It seemed like no one wanted to be bothered evertime we asked a question or even asked for stuff for the room. We loved Florida but weredissapointed with the roomservice and the resort in general. Sorry but I had to give feedback since no one there seemed to care!”

“the landscaping was beautiful, the staff was okay, but did not reflect the room. The smell was awful. Totally had to wash everything clean & new when returned home. Had new luggage and had to air it out, outside for days afterward to get the smell out. Approached the staff about it & they could change rooms for us but it would cost more. Didn't know was staying a a timeshare rental, didn't know Oak Plantation was not your typical hotel/motel. The washing machine was broke when we went to use. It was disgustingly dirty. The furniture, carpet, etc. hadn't been updated in 20+ years. ”

“Guest room had not been vaccumed and the floor was very dirty, light and ceiling fan did not work in guest room other than that all was good.”

“I was not a happy camper. I shared my room with lots of bugs, so many they should have picked up 1/2 the tab. No bathtub stopper, lumpy uncomfortable mattress, disgusting in room coffee pot, couch and chair in living room were very stained, look dirty, I wouldn't sit on them. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone.”

“As an owner at Oak I have been very disappointed in the upkeep.It amazes me how anyone off the street can rent the same 2bedroom villa that I bought. Anyone could rent it for a fraction of what owners have paid.and not be obligated to pay a yearly condo fee. which I keep wondering where it goes it doesnt appear to be put back into the up keep.”

“The hotel was nice. We stayed there before, as in February. Rooms were nice and location was excellent. Major problems with housekeeping. Told management about it and nothing was done. Same problems existed the second day. Nice to see managers really care!!”

“My husband and I stay here the first week of March 2011. We had a beautiful villa on the ground floor right off the pool. It was clean and bright. Close to all the attractions we wanted to see. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and had a great time. we would stay here again in the future and recommend this resort to family and friends.”
