“I have to be very honest I do a lot of traveling around the country and 3 times a year out of the country and i can't tell how disappointed with my stay I was. My friend convinced us to stay with you guys as he did and does quite often. I think he is what you guys call Presidents club or something like that. We wanted to be close to each other and the receptionist first gave us a room on the second floor however my friends room was much smaller that it was suppose to when the receptionist told him it was the biggest on the floor (as we were waiting for her to assign our room). So my friend called from our room to ask if we can be moved. One of the first things he said was is his room going to be the same? They said yes actually its bigger. Well it wasn't and couldn't believe it. But we were not going to move rooms again as we just arrived from working all day and of course the flight from Chicago. After the 2nd day of our stay we went to lunch and we sat at the bar to get a snack and a cup of coffee. I ordered the oysters rockefeller. I ate one however it was cold in the middle. As i dine out 2-3 times a week, every good server after you take a bite of your meal comes back to ask "how is everything". She was nowhere to be found for a minimal 5mins. Mind you it was 12pm and nobody was at the bar but me and my brother. Actually i was very patient and didn't mind waiting however when i told her "excuse me my food is cold" her response "What do you mean the food is cold?" First off i couldn't believe she would ask that. Second her tone and the look on her face was absolutely uncalled for. I didn't know how to respond. I proceeded to say "well theres a hot and a cold side and its on the colder side and i would like it closer to hot" No sorry! No I apologize I don't know how that happened. She acted like i did something wrong. I didn't cook them how is it my fault? Another time i came in from going to the hot yoga across the street. As i came back in the doorman and 2 other employees were there in between the doors and just watched me open both doors and continued talking. I have to say I wasn't surprised after what already happened. At any rate. i never give reviews but I couldn't help but to say something. My friend mentioned that this hotel is not a reflection of my stay, however its very hard for me to believe. I would not have stayed there if not for his recommendation. I don't know if I have any reason to go back after my stay. I can say the housekeeping did a good job. Thank you!”Posted by Mike Flores
“Surprise! Wake up early Sunday morning by loud housekeeping staff. Don't call to complain because it will only get louder. Slamming doors, staff talking loudly to each other, dropping metal objects are just some of the sounds that kept going from 8am Sunday morining till 11am. ”Posted by Tracy
“good and we were comfortable and I love the Copley where I have stayed for years however I felt that i was given a room with an awful view very far from the concierge facilities even though I reserved well in advance, am a member of the President's club, a long time customer and made it clear that I was paying for the room so I could have it available about 7 AM of the check in day. A nicer room could have been held for us just as well. Luckily we slept most of the time. The room itself, handicapped adapted, was comfortable though my husband and I prefer one queen or king bed not two beds which is what we got. Also the shower handle was so stiff we couldn't turn it so we had to get urgent assistance so we could be on time for our memorial service. The staff and service are great.The black laborador retriever, is still on duty. It is sad that the dining room is noisy now, as we used to love to have an elegant place for a meal that could include conversation!”Posted by Ann Kelley Salahuddin
