“For an all-suite hotel, I thought the price would be much more expensive but it was actually reasonable. I stayed in the comfort suite and I appreciated the separate living and sleeping areas, as well as a kitchenette. My room also had a balcony that overlooked the city. ”

“when we arrived our bathroom was not clean . there was hair in the bathtub and on the floor. the ceiling had dripped a brown stain into the bathtub. when we called the front desk response was immediate and we had three people in there cleaning it up and figuring where it came from. they left and it was very clean. for the most part it was good ”

“The room itself was really good but you had to pay an extra $14 for parking and you also had to pay $9 for continental breakfast which was almost empty (ex. in the bread erea there was one slice of bread and one bagel) and we had to wait 20 min for them to bring out more stuff, coffee wasn't refilled until we were almost done. etc. It was a very busy morning in there so maybe its not a prob usually.”

“I booked a one-bedroom unit for my parents while they visit Edmonton. The heat was not working properly, despite having the thermostat cranked up. The vents in the bedroom were actually blowing out cold air! It was -20C outside on those days, so that was not acceptable. Several phone calls to the front desk later, they were told someone would go to look at it right away. They waited for 2 hours, and no one showed up. They had to go down to the front desk to complain in order for someone to go to the room to cover the vent. No offer was made to move to another room. On their final night, a portable heater was offered; however, by that time, it was a little too late. My parents were not impressed by the service they had received at all.”

“The A/C in the bedroom was leaking in cold air so badly I had to put the extra blanket over it to minimize the cold draught. The thermostat was maxed out, but the room temperature didn't come up over 65 degrees! Beds are OK, having a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishes in the kitchen is great, so if the room temperature was better regulated, this hotel would be a good value. Right now, though, room 704 is one to avoid!”

“Our stay was a very enjoyable experience. We found the staff to be exceptionally courteous and helpful. Particular mention should be made of the front desk and the maid handling our room. Our only minor criticism would be the somewhat "worn" condition of the room, but it was clean, which is what really counts with us. We would stay there again given the opportunity to once again visit Edmonton. ”

“The room was spacious, however a throwback from the 1960's. The furniture was in very rough shape and the bed needs to be thrown out and replaced! Thankfully there was a small air conditioner in the bedroom or the entire place would have been stifling hot. The lobby area is deceiving as you think it's an upscale hotel, but once you get into the rooms, you realize that it's only a facade! The only really GOOD thing about this hotel is that there was a full kitchen area so if you were staying for more than 1 night, you could cook your own meals.”
