Rooms were clean and pretty quiet (we did hear people upstairs walking late) Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. we ate out buy the pool.
We got in very late and ordered pizza, it came pretty fast and it was good.
The staff were great!

This place is inbetween ownership and our room was in need of some repair. Phone not working Some of the doors to get back into the building would not open. The staff was nice and the view was great

after paying over $200 for the room they charged another $26 for parking. after my brother and I went to dinner, bringing back a doggie bag, the room didn't even have a fridge. on the plus side, it was close to the french quarter and bourbon street.

hotel was clean enough, only 2 pillows on a king-sized bed and 2 very thin bath towels. Cactus Pete's owns this and I thought it incredibly tacky that one has wifi and the other does not. Also thought it would have been nice to have info on what was going on at Cactus Pete's ie. shows, specials at the cafes, etc. Nothing in room with that info. Had a great meal at the mexican restuarant next to the Horseshu. This is an ok place to sleep.

The grounds were delightful. The staff warm, hospitiable, & helpful. The comp breakfast appreciated but could have had a little more variety. Room adequate, could use a little modernization. Generally clean but found hairs in tub.

We stay at this hotel 2 or 3 times a year we love the location. The staff are friendly and helpful

We stayed here for the third time on May 11-13. We have always enjoyed our stay and find the hotel to be very convenient. On Sat., May 12, we left our room at 7:30AM and were gone until 4:30 PM. We left the maid service tag on the door. The room had not received maid attention during the day but we thought they were running behind and would catch up. We then left at 6:00 PM and returned at 11:00PM. During that time no one came to freshen the room. We feel that we should be entitled to daily maid service considering we paid top dollar for this room. When I brought this to your manager's attention upon checking out, he apologized and told us he would give an upgrade if we booked again.

"The Oceanfront balcony gave me some of the best evening breezes I have ever experenced. Returning after a two year absence from vacation but returning with my best friend to really enjoy the sunshine states beautiful beaches and nightlife. I already knew where I wanted to stay before I booked. Looking forward to my massage on the beach" my first day there"
