Mobile is a historic and distinctive city on the southern tip of the State of Alabama. One can also travel back in time and feel the Southern spirit of bygone eras in the many antebellum homes in the area.

Enjoy a feast of local delights as a prelude to a night of frivolity in any of Mobile’s bars, night clubs and other entertainment venues that cater to every taste, age and mood. Dauphin Street is a melting pot of bars, dance clubs and live entertainment. Martini’s is a local favorite, with an upstairs dance hall called Club Retro. While the city streets are teeming with booze and partygoers, it remains to be a safe haven because of the Downtown Mobile Alliance. The DMA ensures that everyone, locals and visitors alike, have a truly wonderful time painting the town.
With its rich Southern history, Mobile is home to many museums that tell the stories. The Battleship Memorial Park located on the shores of Mobile Bay is home to WWII battleship USS Alabama and submarine USS Drum. It also features Vietnam War and Korean War Memorials as well as a host of military equipments used during the war. The Mobile Carnival Museum chronicles the city’s long-standing history of Mardi Gras celebrations and showcases memorabilia, costumes, floats and displays. Antebellum house museums like the Conde-Charlotte House, Richards DAR House and the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion are also available for viewing.
