The festival also highlights the town’s rich maritime heritage that continues to this day. Spring hosts the Soft Shell Crab Festival. This is the time when visitors can taste the best soft shell crab recipes.
It is also a good idea to take a walking tour of the town, exploring every walking trail and, of course, the boardwalk. Don’t forget to visit the local attractions like the Port Royal Museum that travelers can find inside a local landmark, the historic Union Church.
