Irvine is a city in California who owes its beautiful layout to careful planning. As a master planned city, it has streets lined with greenery. The landscaped areas and parks are also interconnected by a network of streets so that these can be easily reached by tourists and residents alike. There are also safe lanes for bikers and pedestrians along most routes in the city. The subdivisions all over the city are often picturesque as homeowners’ associations often place restrictions on the types of houses as well as paint and landscaping so that the rows of houses are neat and beautiful. Of course, the planning also took into account commercial spaces, with 2 commercial districts located in opposite sides of the city.
There are numerous parks all over the city, offering various purposes, including providing the city with its green lungs. All of the housing subdivisions and neighborhoods of the city have parks. There are parks that offer various sports facilities and ball fields. Some parks even feature swimming pools and other recreation options. There are also community centers in some of the parks. Many parks also feature scenic trails for biking and hiking.
Tourists will surely have fun exploring the many interesting places to visit in Irvine. Aside from the many parks, travelers can also enjoy visiting The Market Place which is an outdoor mall offering varied goods and items for shoppers. Pao Fa Temple is another interesting landmark, especially since it also holds the distinction of being among the largest Buddhist monasteries and Buddhist temples in the US.
