The unique name of Oldsmar is interesting enough that a number of tourists visit the city just to learn more about it. The real reason for the name is that the place began as part of the property of Ransom E. Olds, an automobile pioneer and inventor of the Oldsmobile who bought the land in 1913. Because the city is old enough, it offers a lot of interesting areas to visit, unique name or not.

What makes it a good one is that the beautiful beaches are great venues for fun and excitement, especially because the tropical waters are clean and warm enough for swimmers to enjoy.
